Yesterday was a super tiring day!
Had NCC meeting in the morning with the CUO/CLT.
Gossiped on a lot things. It was an eye opener!
Celebrated Aloy and Annabelle birthday at night! It was a crazy night out! Went to Timbre @ the arts house! Its just beside Sir Stamford Raffles statue! Drank like nobody business till somebody got drunk! Everyone went high! Best night so far!
I got a question to ask. Whats with the weather nowadays!? Its either super cold or super hot! Crap.
HOW TO RUN!?

POLY OPEN HOUSE!
It was a very long day yesterday!
Woke up at 5+ for stupid morning class that has no use for me. That may be the reason why so many people decided to give it a miss! It was a long day at school which made me miss the CCA open house in my Alma mater. But oh well I had fun!
I think its rather of my to get balloons from SP as my friend was the one that was filling the balloon with air and its a good thing as I can cut the queue! But its unlucky as my friends did not get the goody bags as the stocks ran out. They came all the way from NYP NP and TP! Short of one RP to complete the polytechnics! Trolling the people selling the courses were also funny since we were all poly students! Although we wasted their time, it was for a good laugh!
Went to NYP later in the evening to play! I realise that many NVSS peeps from my batch studied there as when I was walking in, I saw quite a few! Should have gone to NYP :/ Did the same crap in NYP as i did in SP LOL! Went to clubbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
Slept for more than 15 hours today! Blame Polytechnic for it!
I think I should club less :(
Everyone wants happiness yeah?

Flutter away
Time is really passing too fast. I do not think that I have enough time to do things that I want.
As the days go by, I am constantly thinking whether do I have enough time to spend with my family and my friends, whether I have enough time for myself. I am afraid that I cannot fulfill my desires and my needs.
Although time is passing fast, my injuries does not seem to recover fast enough. Regretted pushing myself too hard during December. Should have just rest and began training when the year started. Now i pay the price. Next race on the 26Feb. Can finish but the timing sure will be sucky. What to do....
SP open house tomorrow! Hope I can get the goodie bags also! :D baggu fanta and popcorn! Great! Just to attract people only! Sian.
Time is fluttering away

Last day of holiday
Guess the holidays are over.
Time to go back to school! I kinda like going to school. It beats working and staying at home doing nothing! So its like a love hate relationship with school. Need to wake up early for my morning jog as planned and shall head to AMK HUB before heading to school as I need to fix my EZ-Link card... Such a waste of time.
Had fun with the family today! Nus has changed since a long long time ago where my kindergarten was there! Such a beautiful place, how nice Singapore Poly can be as nice as that place! 2 more years till my poly ends! After that NS already lo. 2011 really flew by very fast. 2012 will fly by as fast too. I need to be ready for all challenges to come.
Shall turn in now, good nights readers! :D

Brand new start a brand new beginning
First blog post of 2012! YAY!
Okay to begin with, I will be blogging a lot today so take your time to read!
By the way, tagboard is down! OMG will fix it ASAP! :) contact me via twitter or facebook!
Will be blogging on:
1. Regrets of 2011 ( guess everyone has them right? )
2. Resolutions for 2012 ( guess everyone makes them right? )
3. A very meaningful post i saw on facebook!
4. What happen yesterday night and today morning ( COUNTDOWN! )
So, my regrets of 2011.
There are quite a lot of regrets actually some that I cannot forgive, some that I need to improve on and some that just takes place. I regretted that I did not study hard in Polytechnic, my grades have shown. I've also regretted that I have not spend much time with my family, everyone has been doing their own things :( I've also regretted that I did try my very best in what I want, not pushing myself hard to achieve my goals of 2011. Regretted playing too much and neglecting my parents. I guess I really need to man up and face those facts right? Its not everyday I tackle problems head on.
I've always told people and myself not to end 2011 with regrets but I have not done so myself. I'm very sorry to that certain someone if you are reading this I'm sorry for not meeting you up and apologising. Really too ashamed of myself. Guess I should just eat humble pie and think about what have I done wrong and tell myself that change is necessary to make me a better person to contribute to society. What is done and change is needed.
Nothing is permanent except change - Heraclitus 475BC
By seeing the regrets I've made, and what I feel like accomplishing this year, my New Year resolutions are,
-To study hard ( EASIER SAY THAN DONE )
-To sleep early everyday
-Spend the much needed time with my family ( I am growing older, so are they. )
-Have a healthy lifestyle ( Everybody should do it )
-Stop flirting with girls ( Everyone says I flirt too much =.= )
-Keep notes on what happened in the year ( Always wanted to do that )
-Complete my 42.195km( Legal to run a marathon already! Crawl past the finish line! )
-Get sub 4 for a marathon. ( Wants to break my fathers record so bad! )
Guess that's all for now.

Yesterday night was a fun night! Met up with the usual's and headed out to Orchard! But upon tapping my ezlink card, the gantry was unable to read it and now I need to make a new card. Thank You SMRT for giving me a temporary card which has $5 in it and not spoil my celebration mood! When we reached orchard, we went to Ngee Ann City for the The radio countdown! Had the best free gift there! A LED light-band! If you see it you will love it too! The party atmosphere was not there at all! Maybe people were not in the mood yet!
After that we headed to CityHall MRT to make our way to the helix! It was very crowded when we tried to make our way there. But to our dismay, the helix was only open to those people that were at The Float@Marina. So we continued walking to Marina Bay Sands Shoppes! Great view of the Marina basin there! Very attractive colours light up the Singapore skyline and the view of the Helix bridge was superb! For some reason I managed to get very high when the fireworks started I think I kind of disturb many people taking videos with my screaming! Really did have a lot of fun yesterday! After the fireworks we went into Marina Bay Sands Shoppes. I went crazy and said HAPPY NEW YEAR to people that walked past! And the first person to reply me was a gorgeous girl! That sure did make my day!
Went back to Yishun and decided not to go home. Went to "lepak" with friends till 4+5+ chatting what happened during secondary school! It was indeed funny as many of us did not know a lot of things till we actually shared it with each other and it was sure an eye opener! Or may I say a mouth opener! Laughter filled Yishun park. It was time well spent! Guess not sleeping made us closer on New Years Day! I hope our friendship stays as strong as it is!
Saw a post on facebook by a Singaporean teenager that enlightened me and probably the rest of Singapore on "Bangala workers"
This is what he wrote on the post. You can find it here

On the 31st December 2011, i decided to take up on a 'sai kang' job that my friend offered me. He told me that i was being paid $80 for that day itself.
My friend told me that he needed to find people who were willing to do the job. The pay being the most rewarding factor for me, I took the job despite the fact that that day was the last day in 2011. Jun Kai, Junyuan and Stanley agreed to also work with me. This was our first time experience in this kind of work.
The job? Simple. Do road closures in the heart of town area in singapore by shifting metal barricades to regulate traffic flow for the new year.
Little did i know that i was soon going to be working with what we normally call bangla workers. We were soon given the typical reflective safety vests to wear that you'd normally see in construction sites.
On the lorry ride to different areas that we had to set up, i was basically trying to know them better. They had the same mindset. To work and earn money. They had families overseas and the money that they earn will be given back to their families.
At around 8pm we were basically walking along marina square to our next location. Few singaporeans noticed that i was a singaporean amongst the rest and they were staring at us as if we're doing something illegal. Something bad. A couple even gave that confused look like, "That young boy siao one ah. Countdown people all go celebrate this boy go and work, with the bangla people somemore. Didn't the parents teach him anything useful?"
You know what i mean.
But what were we doing? Ensuring that there is enough space for pedestrians to walk as it's the new year.
There's bound to be overcrowding at these areas.
They were basically looking down at these bangla workers and ourselves too. If it isn't for these workers who are willing to sacrifice the very last day of the year to ensure the safety of the pedestrians and also regulate traffic flow at congested areas,
some of us wouldn't even be able to see the new year.
Barricades are set so that there would be less people trying to jaywalk over to the other side of the road. Normally on these kind of occasions, we would go and celebrate the year by meeting up with our close friends to enjoy. By drinking and partying. And that's when you'd get drunk and the thing that might eventually save your life is that metal barricade that prevents you from going over.
Now i know how these foreigners feel.
Yes, i stereotype these people too. I'd normally try to avoid them due to the smell and the list eventually goes on.
But on the very last day of 2011, i've achieved something greater than drinking or partying. I learn to accept.
I've also learned that you can say that you're this and that but when it comes to the real thing, you'll see the true colours.
********
So since 2012 is a brand new year that has started, I would like to ask all of you to do me a small favour:
1)
Stop discriminating these people. From what I've experienced they are nice people. You can't really blame them for taking photos of bikini girls at sentosa or at any other areas similar as such. They work almost 24/7 and when they have their free time, they would like to see the nicer side of singapore. And they are humans too. And they are men. Since when did men ever not get attracted to the opposite gender. So if you're wearing a bikini at sentosa to show off that fabulous body of yours to get hunks looking at you, go fuck yourselves.
If you're suntanning, I would suggest going to another area where there are lesser foreigners around.
2)
Do not look down on them. These are the people that would go through shit jobs just to ensure that singaporeans would never need to do these kind of jobs.
3)
They did nothing wrong to all of you. So stop disturbing them just because you think it's a fun/funny thing to do.
********
I took this photo with a few of them whom i worked with.
Laugh all you want.
Yeah, make jokes like "Eh sialah zahid you look just like one of them sia omg"
I do not give a single fuck.
I AM PROUD TO BE HAVING A PHOTO TAKEN WITH THEM.
P.S. I asked one of them how much they were getting paid for every occasions like these. He replied, "$24". We were getting $80.
P.S.S. Two teenagers were clapping at us when this photo was taken. They can go fuck themselves.
P.S.S.S. I saw a teenager spraying snow spray at a bangla walking past outside Orchard Cineleisure during christmas. He can also do the same with the other two teenagers.
I apologise if this may offend to anyone that is reading this. Certain things might not be accurate and might also be exaggerated and this is only based on my opinion. My main motive of this is to ask singaporeans to do that very small favour.

This makes me really think hard on what racist remarks I have made on them and they are human after all. They are much more hardworking than some Singaporeans. Hats off to them.
I need you to come here and find me ‘cause without you I'm totally lost. –Pooh
Guess a new beginning was all I needed.
